All by their lonesome. I hit them with soap and water first just to get the loose stuff off then scrub lightly. If there is a stain I use a spray whitewall cleaner with the sos pad but that is pretty rare.

Changed them to blackwalls so I didn't have to fuss with this anymore!

I like that idea. I run a rear blackwall every other year when I only change the rear tire. I tried the magic erasers and hated them. Fell apart in my hands. I use Comet and a rag.

I clean mine every two-three days, up on the life she goes, clean the white walls and polish the rims. Not that hard.

I'm a big fan of SOS pads. I use them on my cars and I used them on my Heritage quite regularly. I dunk them in a bucket of water first, then hose off the tires.

Ditto. After I wash the bike, I rinse the tire, rub the white wall with the SOS pad and rinse off.

+ on SOS pads - had an old car back in the day that hadn't been washed much less detailed in about 10 years ... buddy of mine brought out the SOS pads and the whitewalls were gleaming white with nearly no effort
