I have a 99 Road Glide and after washing it it just doesn't shine like it should. Well that was untill i used Scratch X on it. If you think your paint is good try this on it. I'll bet you it looks a whole lot better after using it. My bike had a real fine white haze on it after washing. You have to put some A$$ into, rub like your trying to take the paint off of it, but man does my bike shine now. Took all that white haze away. Give it a try, $8.00 at my local AutoZone.

 

ScratchX is good stuff....one of the best OTC polishes with some bite that you use by hand. It is on the agressive side so it should only be used as needed. A milder polish would be better for maintanance now that you have removed defects.
