Default eng rebuild mess

geez...you can not imagine the mess from a rebuild of 95 bore and gear cams (i aint done yet)...there is crud and crap everywhere(but not in the engine/cases/etc cause i protected em) but it looks like i was in a 1000 mile journey in the worst weather you can imagine and it makes me want to throw up...ok... you shouldbe getting the picture by now...you should see my heads from porting/polishing...the inside looks much better than the outside and the jugs were clean when i got them back from the bore...but now...sheeet...i coould go on and on...so...when i am done...i want it to look like it did before i started...like a brand new out of the box scoot and not like an 02 fxst...cause before i started this it did look like that...so please...give me some cleaning suggestions...cause it will run like a scaulded dog...and believe me they haul azz...and if some of you are chuckling...at least the inside is spotless...you know what i mean and why it is important...
my appreciation is genuine...what are your tips to get the outside looking good...

fair question but no...ok...try this...you just gave a 6 year old permission to go play and sit on your ride...but first you put grease, grime and dirt on his little hands and told him to enjoy...and no matter what he/she touched the lttle fingers never got cleaner...can you picture this...and you have a softail standard with grey powdercoated engine but you have chromed quite a bit on the bike...but the grey powdercoat has all is lttle finger stains around the engine and the chrome and black enamel (like) rest of the bike (it is black by the way) has the litlle smudges too...
maybe i am freaking cause it has never looked like this and i want to make sure it cleans up...but especially the powercoat engine/tranny/etc parts...
does this give you a better picture cause i know you know what you are talking about...
thanx
