This evening I did half or more of my bike, I'll finish it in the morning then go ride. Dri-wash is my waterless choice. It works SO great, it leaves a polymer sheild on the surface that is slick to the feel. It is used in the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, exclusively. I also got a compliment on how shiney my RV was, the guy said what do you wash it with ? Ya'll ought to try this stuff !!!
I agree with PaFatBoy. I have used Dri Wash n Guard for years on cars, RVs, bikes. Always lots of compliments and people wanting to know what I use.[:-]
If you wantto go waterless, use DRI-WASH N' GUARD ! That's all I use on my bike, you will NOT get ANY scratches or swirls. It suspends the dirt above the surface,It works great on chrome, paint, rubber, I even clean my visor on my helmet. A little goes a LONG way. I also use it on my 5th wheel RV, it's fiberglass.
Is there a good place to get it that doesn't involve ordering off some dudes webpage?
I have some type of waterless wash formula at the house but haven't really given it a try. I need to get some good towels before I consider it.

Just a quick note from my detailing days.
Water and soap suspend dirt particles so that they do not scratch your finish when you wipe it with a wash mitt or whatever. If you don't wet it first, the dirt particles are stuck to your finsh. Anything you do after that only leads to scratches in the finish.
Black paint is the trickiest of all. It will tell on you if you cheat.
