This thread has been out there before, but I'll try again. Looking for the battery cover band for the Superglide that actually say's, "Superglide" in script. I understand that it was standard on the 07 Superglide custom. Now, HD only offers it in the Skull, blank and Harley Davidson versions. I have an, '08 - and I'd really like it on my bike. Would welcome a used part if anybody has one or knows of one that available.

The HD dealer can order that. I have one on my 2012. I just ordered a new cover in black to put a bag on so I could keep my original in new shape. It only cost 48.00 for the cover but didn't get the price for the band. He did ask if I needed it also.

Kevin, thanks again. After some consternation (it took a good half an hour to find it) at the HD dealer we found the part. The band was $64 by the way. It's ordered.
