I purchased an 05' FXD with stock bars and finding myself leaning over the tank quite a bit.
Anybody out here try the rivco 1 up 2 back and was pleasantly surprised?...... I've sat on the bike numerous times since purchase and can't for the life of me determine if 2 back would make THAT much difference. And If I did give the rivco riser a shot, would that work with a bar mounted speedo? The previous owner did say he pushed the bars forward as far as he could, but pulling them down would seem like they'd be awfully close to the tank.
Or should I forget about the riser and change the bars instead?
It made a huge difference for me on my 2010 FXDC. The Rivco risers are extremely well made, although they are abit spendy. Not sure about the speedo issue, so you might contact them about fitment.
