i am doing a axle swap on my 03 fxd to a new 04 fxd axle from 3/4 to 1 1/4 my question is the old bearings had a spacer between them the new axle fit nice in the new bearings and rim do i need to buy a new spacer to put back into the rim for the bigger axle???

Does the axle fit into the spacer. If not you need to get the spacer that fits. The spacer keeps the bearings in place.

What bike uses a 1.25" axle? I know the bikes went from the .75" to the 1" to the 25mm over the years but don't know anything about a 1.25". Also, Will the lower legs except the larger axle?
