Default suction cup p-pads

ANyone using these? I have a street bob and ride solo 95% of the time but felt it would be good to have in the bags just in case. I know your not suppose to leave on with no passenger cause you could loose it. Are they tough to get off, do they mark the fender, any suggestions? MAKO

mako,
mine should get here in a day or 2 and then the gf will make me take her for a ride and i will let you know. i am sure it wont be the most comfy for her but i dont care, i didnt buy a solo seat equipped bike to taxi her around and i am posative the saddle gel will be more comfy than a bar towel. as for marking the fender ill fiond out soon enough.
regards,
HArLo

A buddy of mine HAD one of those the secret as he told me was to keep the damn thing clean the suction cup naturally has some static in it and it would pick up dirt dust etc. The other problem was he had 2 of them stolen off the bike so it can't be that hard to get off. I almost bought one but after his got ripped off the second time I decided to just get the Harley one.

hahahahaha, I ride solo and a couple of females ride their own but......I have 2 female friends that want to ride and love to ride so.....I just bought mine today and should see it w/ in the week. I was tempted togo 2 up but couldn't bring myself to do that...yet. Plus I may purchase a motherwell rack. I figured if I do, I could have the best of both worlds by just switching them out and tossing the other in bags. I will also keep an eye on the static with dust and dirt...Thanks MAKO

MY thoughts exactly! I have a large roll bag I put on the forks above the light when I need to carry more crap but since I put the windvest on there isn't a ton of room for it to sit on the light. MAKO

I got the wind vest on ebay thru a friend.....couldn't see spending 350 - plus on something I didn't know would work or like. The roll bag came from kureakin(sp). I got the nylon with expandable ends...figured for once in a blue moon I use it Ididn't need the xtra cost of the leather. Now, my GF (kinda) boughtone of their "steamer trunks" that goes on her sissy bar and you could fit most of my house in it! LOL MAKO
