had a bad one around here last year. biker had his girl on the back on a suction cup seat. passed a semi, and the girl fell off the bike. nothing left but little pieces. don't know what impact having that kinda seat had, but likely it contributed to the accident. certainly how the bike was being driven, lack of a sissy bar, action by both the passenger and rider were at fault. bad thing about this one was that the ride kept on going and didn't even stop even though he knew what had happened. will be getting a room without a view here shortly.
just like lo said. no p-pad od seat on my junk. no pass pegs either. ride the fender and wrap the legs around. if they want to ride bad enough they will do it. as far as the girl falling above , i'm sure that someone had to be riding very unsafely to begin with, driver and passenger both.i've ridden on some crappy roads w/someone on the fender and never had any problems w/anybody hitting the pavement.
I talked with these folks here. and bought off ebay. I prefer you to ride your own but once in a blue moon......http://www.myspace.com/hottail Hey, I thought the "snailtrail" would mess up my paint!!! LOL MAKO
I am selling mine on Ebay. I only used it once. It left marks on the black denim. It wont stay on unless someone is sitting on it. I am not sure if that is a black denim thing or not. I have seen them secured very firmly on custom rides.
i was thinking about getting one too but i have denim paint. What are the marks on the paint from the suction cups? Will the marks come out of the paint?
There goes that idea....I have the black denim. Ohwell. Hopefully any chick that is on the back has strong legs and atight ***. Well, I guess she wouln't be on the back of my bike if she didn't....

Bobby, the pad left little round marks from the cups on the fender close to the seat. I only used the pad once and for no more than 50 miles. I will just get a nice and sleek 2-up seat if I decide to go that way again. My girl has her own bike so no need for any of that crap.
i have a phantom pad. was about $120 . my girl can stand to ride on it for about an hour maybe a half more then complains about her *** killin her. shes a tough girl so im sure its uncomfortable awhile before she says so. the one thing she does like is that the lack of cushin in it causes it to pass the vibration through to a nice place for her. nothin like riding around town with a hot *** horny smiling filipino girl on the fender haha
all in all . good for short rides locally. not good for the freeway, matter of fact i have thinking lately about not taking passengers on the freeway with that suction cup crap.
