Keep an eye on that RSD guard. Mine snapped right at the rear mount tab and started banging around back there. Luckily no damage to anything except the guard itself. It's a really bad design IMO.

Thanks for the heads up! Yeah that rear mount does not look near as well designed as stock. The more I think about the rivets from the RSD logo sticking out the back and right next to the pulley the more irritated I get. I think RSD is into form way more than function.
Went for a ride of 100 plus miles yesterday and really like my gearing! The pulley changes I have done "compressed" the gearing into a much more user friendly operation. Where before it was a big jump to switch from say 2nd to 3rd, now it is a more natural/smaller jump and I am able to ride in my "sweet" rpm ranges easier. Any top end loss is worth it to me because I can easily go 65 - 70 mph in 5th gear still, 6th gear will handle cruising at 75 - 85 mph with no issues and I don't spend a lot of time doing that - stripped down dyna with just a Windvest is not great for sustained high speeds.
i like the look of the dyna pulley(stock & 68T international) vs. sportster pulley 68T
is everything going well with the dyna 68T international pulley?
It WAS fine, but now it is in a box because I bought new Southern Motorcycle Work Black Testiment wheels and a matching 68T rear pulley.
My HD 68T International pulley is available, and does not require a spacer like the sportster one -IIRC. Just PM me if you want it, I always try to be very fair to fellow HD Forum members.
Edit: Just saw the Austrailia location, may not be affordable shipping wise....?

Finally found a 68 T pulley. Black ones are all gone, but found a silver one and had it powder coated. Already had the 30 T front pulley. This has been the best modification I have made on my 2013 fxdb. Better performance all around, and can finally use all the gears. Have not measured the top speed, but it is plenty fast, and more powerful. The stock 32/66 gearing was much too high for even I-95 here in CT. Running S&S 585 cams and 10:1 pistons and I love it. My '99 fxdx had the five speed and that was all I ever needed (stock drive pulleys). Makes you wonder why H-D ever went to a six speed.
