Because scamsoil thinks they are special and they think people will do whatever it takes to find it. Personally I won''t use the crap. I've heard of multiple people having engine problems/failures from using amsoil, one of them being my dad.

How do you know these failures were from using Amsoil?
It's highly respected in the high performance/race community, and does unusually well in used oil analysis, for the presence of "wear metals".

I wish it was easier to find too.

I respectfully disagree, I'm sure there was something elso going on that caused the engine issues. I was an auto tech for 22 years and have been using Amsoil for a long time in many different applications and never had an issue that Amsoil caused. The only issue I've had is getting the stuff.

Warp, where have you been getting it? I get my engine oil from Ace Hardware, but they don't carry the fork oil. I guess I will need to order it online.

If you use it regularly have you consider being a preferred customer? That is what I did and get all their products at dealers cost. I usually order 2 cases at a time. Some of my riding buddies get it from me. So I save $$$

That reminds me that I need to make a order.

just a thought.

He's talking about fork oil. If your running fork oil in your motor then that is where the problem lies. You can order it from Ricor if you can't find it any place else.

If you are referring to what I posted, I can get any of their products + mothers products @ dealers cost. I was referring to being able to find it easier.
I doubt there are many that uses fork oil in their engine. Really?
