Surging Idle
Hello:
Today, I started my bike, and my idle is usually around 1000 RPM. I noticed that after a while it goes up and down (with or without choker). It surges about 100 RPM up and down.
I recently installed 30" fishtail mufflers with no baffles, but I did not have baffles to begin with (my mufflers were considerable shorter though).
When installing the mufflers, I took the entire exhaust down and changed all the clamps, gaskets as well as used permatex sealant on all joints. Another thing that happened is whistling sound that seems to be coming from pipes....but that happens only on decel (no poping though). Not sure if this is all somehow connected, but any ideas?
