Default Easy Brackets or Ghost Brackets

I'm not thrilled about cluttering up the scooter with a bunch of extra add-ons, but i'm getting to where i need bags. My wife is getting tired of filling her bags with my crap!

So a buddy showed me the Easy bracket and Ghost Bracket solutions and wondered if anyone has these or has any opinions about them. Will it still require the relocation kit for the turn sigs? And are these quick release bags (Easy/Ghost) reliable?

Or if someone has another solution that doesn't add something to the fender rails but is QR.

thanks

i have a 05 wideglide and yes the easy brackets are great and yes you need to relocate your rear lights back to the last hole ghost brackets have alot of problems, they may have taken care of them, my local dealer won`t order or sell them i have had the easy bracket for over a year and they are great

I have the easy brackets, Idecided to re locate my rear signals down to the fender, once I did that the Easy Brackets work great. My only complaint is that they rattle when empty but the thunderheader is so loud I usually can't hear them.I have heard this can be fixed by adding washers to one peg set so that they are offset just enough to tighten them up but I never seem to get around to it.

I too have the easy brackets and a turn signal relocation kit. I love them. Easy to put on and take off.

ditto what special ed sez, the rattle is there but once they are loaded no problems, haven't really timed the install or removal but it's in the ten second bracket.

Did you move the turn sigs below the brake light or above? the more i look at some of the other relocation kits (not HD), i like the idea of moving them below the break light, adding a lie down plate and then using the Easy Brackets, which appear to be the overall good decision based on you guys.

One other thing. Will the brackets work with any set of bags? You just have to punch holes in the bags to mount the brackets? HD seems very proud of their bags as do Boss and some othe retailers. I'd like to not spend a fortune on a set of bags, but want to know they'll hold up when attached to the brackets. Leather or not, i dont' really care.

I have the Easy Brackets on my 03 Lowrider. They look good when the bags are on and very clean when off. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a quick on / off option and keep the bike looking clean.

Actually they're centered on the tail light, they're mounted directly to the fender without the stems. They have 1/2" aluminum spacersin place of the stemswith extra 1/4" holes drilled for the wires.I don't own a digital camera otherwise I'd snap a pic for ya I think they look allot cleaner than any signal relocation kit I've seen.

Something like that, I just used a set of leather throw over slant bags made for a Dyna by a company called "Border Leather" yea you guessed it echo in mexico $120.Anyway looking at the set up it seems to me you could use any kind of bags so long as you can get them to clear the shocks somehow.
