It was a line from the Movie Wild Hogs, that's all. It kind of fit this thread! Posers are the 99% of owners, i.e. the non motorcycle gang criminal types who like to keep their HD's squared away. The other 1% called themselves the 'riders' and never washed their ride.
The movie was great, but if I have to explain it , you won't understand. Heard this before when trying to explain your ride to an non HD person?? Same thing except different.
BTW I wash my 2003 WG and wax as often as possible.

For me about 4-5 times a season. Wax like 2 times.
I also use an electric power washer. I don't think it is a bad idea as long as you don't go 5" away from things on it. DO NOT use the power washer on the speedo or directly on bearing surfaces but to get the built up crud on wheels, underside of fenders, and bottom of primary covers nothing beats it. Again you can't get real close and don't use at full pressure and it won't harm anything. At about 12-20" away from the surface it ain't much more potent than a full blast from a garden hose.
