Has anyone had any experience with ShowTime detailer/cleaner, a spray-on/wipe-off (w/ microfibre cloth) detailer/cleaner? This is not a mainstream detailer/cleaner (for example, S100), and I'd like to know how it is. No water is used (unless there is caked on dirt), and claims appear to be too good to be true (but I've been badly wrong before).
I would not use it on a dirty bike. Most aersol like that are heavy and do not encapsulate dirt which could lead to scratching. The product shown looks very much like the Honda cleaner.
If you want a quick wash go to WalMart or any camper supply and by ProtectAll Quick and Easy Wash. You can place 1/2 ounce in a spray bottle and wash that way. QEW is a rinseless wash.
3Dog,
I too like the the idea of water, plain and simple, but I'll look for the QEW around here. For the time being, I'll continue to use S100 or Bike Brite.
Thanks.
At Walmart the QEW will be in the boating section. Its made to put a few ounces in a bucket of water but lots of people make a spray bottlelike I described above. Remember it is a no rinse...Wash and wipe dry.
