Here's one cheap option, no hi/lo beam option though but it's supposed to be very bright.

Check out www.socalmotogear.com. Click on left for Harley. Two products. Led head lamp for HD 5 3/4 plug N play $285 . And Led 2200 LM bulb replacement H-4 for 5 3/4 Plug N Play $85.
Both look interesting, but the bulb replacement is most interesting.
Would appreciate if anyone has experience. What do you think? Would bite if I could get some forum members that have had experiences with them.

Most reviews on LED H4 bulbs are not great and several people have removed them to reinstall halogen bulbs. Although they provide a little more light close to the bike (or car), the distance is not as far as a halogen without the specially designed reflectors used in full LED units. I wish my research was more fruitful since my '04's light absolutely sucks, even with a better bulb. Guess I'm going to order a 100W bulb and hope I don't melt anything.
