Default 2012 Strut Removal

Does anyone know what something like that costs or who would that kind of work? This is what I'm looking to do to mine. Also I know I want to do the same type of wheel thats in the picture. Anyone know the size? I'm thinking its a 21 front tire. Not sure how wide I can go on the back tire.

break out the cut off wheel and grinder, roll the fender back, bob it and shape it, make a mount to attach it to the frame, 11" shocks, and Jirah rim swap up front... basicly i belive that is what he did, was a while ago (3 years i think) since i saw his build thread

One of my favorite bikes. I'm not sure if that fender was stock or not. It doesn't seem to have the ridges mine did on the side. I know when I cut my stock one (before what I have now) I used a hole that was just forward of the rear fender in the frame right in the center. Put a bolt in through that and the fender. Made it nice and sturdy.

Robbie I love the way your looks thats what I'm going for. Is gonna cost me a lot you think. I have to find a place to do it to. I'm gonna do the burly kit front and back. Hopefully I'll get the look i'm going for.

I did mine myself, so I do hope you can find someone that will be peculiar about it and take their time. Most of my time was spent just looking at it and figuring out what i wanted/needed to do. Wish you the best. All the folks on here will help out however we can.

its winter, try to do it yerself. the guys on this forum can help. you have a nice idea. I removed the struts on my old Vstar and replaced them with chain links welded in a taught row. then chopped that fender. I miss that look and am glad you picked up on it. the replies you are getting are solid, especially how Robbie mentioned that you might wanna shape it up to your liking.

seriously try to do this one yerself, you might be surprised.
