Default Fat Bob Seat Removal

FNG here. Ok, what is the trick to removing the stock seat on a fat bob? I removed the rear screw and tried to lift the rear while pulling rearward. I don't want to break anything.

Does it still have stock seat strap attached? It bolts to rear fender underneath.

I am assuming that I would be able to access those bolts easily?

If it's still attached should be a nut on top that you can see and not sure what on inner side of fender. Been about 3 years since I undone a seat strap. Just need to jack up bike to get weight off rear so rear tire will sag down then feel up it there to see what you need.

I not long ago swapped out my stock seat for a Sundowner, if you pull the strap towards the front of the seat, and wiggle it a little as you pull the seat backwards it should just slip out from under it then you can get to the nut that holds the strap down on the rear fender.

Hey FNG welcome to HDF. These guys have it wrong. you don't want to remove the strap just the seat right? Once that rear bolt is off slide the strap as far as you can towards the tank, then grab the rear of the seat and pull back until the tab slides out from under the tank. Then angle the seat away from the tank and slide the strap back as you push the seat forward. duh duh done!

You could avoid all this ribbing if you RTFM. First you will need to buy one though!
