theres a lot he can do to get more hp,but when we first started this project (james, correct me if I wrong),he wasn't after chasing #`s,but more looking for a high HP,very reliable motor.pretty much what was built ( I do agree with the 5.3 injectors though)
Yep, I told you when we started that I would be happy with 120/120 but obviously a 124 is going to easily surpass those numbers. As of right now I am completely satisfied with 129/146. I never thought that it would break the 140 ft lb mark. Yep longevity was the key word in this build but when you go big displacement the numbers obviously climb with it. Maybe I'll go with 5.3 next winter when I upgrade the basket and possibly chain drive, for now the 4.9 will be fine, I don't plan on riding WOT all day long. **** it may not see WOT for a year haha. I jumped on it when I dropped the trailer off and the *** end was trying to pass the front at about 1/2-3/4 throttle

Yup. Durable build is better than a max output short lived motor! Now we need some road trip impressions.
Congrats brother, may I suggest you talk to Frank @ Dragos bike works about his exhaust system whenever you go to upgrade? His 2-1's are the real deal and I would be curious what your numbers would be like with his Dagula and what your TQ curve would be like.

I believe the rush exhaust company makes dragos exhaust systems for him. the two system look the same.
