Exactly.. and if anyone thinks that almost 3 degrees doesn't make a difference... well, just keep
that in mind as you're scraping and showering sparks and the guardrail is coming up...

Oh, and just another point... rake angle has nothing to do with the engine / trans / rear suspension
sloppiness that engine stabilizers like Spruthe or True Track fix and despite statements to the contrary,
49mm forks DO flex so if you're interested in handling, invest in a fork brace as well..

Still have a K1200GT and now a Lowrider. Distance; BMW is more comfortable, but around town and having fun it is the LR.

FWIW, I had a SuperBrace fork brace on my '09 Street Bob and didn't notice any difference in handling at all...the biggest difference was putting the SE HD fork oil in, it completely did away with the bad fork dive I had.

Fork braces address a completely different issue.

Your not going to hell but you are 2" closer lol You should change your profile name to Sparky

op, if your looking for nimble handling go with less rake. The Dynas run from 29° - 34°

I have an '01 FXD. Currently it has Progressive cartridge emulators in the forks, Ohlins shocks, a SE fork brace and Sputhe frame stabilizer. I feel each of these has made a definite difference in how it handles. I would also say that going to Avon tires have made a difference as well.
I have heard that the '06 and newer bikes have a stiffer frame and the fork tubes are definitely thicker. I would assume that improves handling but I haven't ridden one to know.
If I was feeling just a bit more feisty I'd like to hook up some XR1200 forks on mine. I actually have a set of the non adjustable stockers in the garage but I have to say I just don't have the ambition at the moment.

The key point in your statement is that you didn't notice... it was there..

Of all the current production Dyna bikes, which one handles the best in stock form?
