Pointed it toward the mountains and rode. Logged about 400 miles between S.C. and N.C.

Got the new skins mounted on the new wheels. 18” rear, 19” front. Can’t wait for the rotor carriers to get back from the coater so I can get these mounted!

Saturday, went on our annual Run to Pizza Barn in Edgewood (about a 30 minute ride, plus another half hour to and from the house from the starting point), along old Route 66, then around the corner for ice cream at the Dairy Queen, and back home. Wife actually rode her own bike, too. It was a beautiful day!!

Today, rode the bike to work, again, as usual. Someone keeps messing with my bike while I'm at work, though, and I can't watch it all the time. It's petty crap that started with my previous bike having the visor on some small spotlights being stolen, and on this new Dyna having the passenger floorboards being put down, like someone was sitting on the bike, so I moved it to a spot further away from the smoking area. Then, other things started happening to the bike; broke the rear turn signal bracket I mounted to the license plate, causing the signal to hang and rub and scratch up the fender and the signal housing, loosened 1 highway peg so it almost fell off, stole 1 visor I installed on the front turn signals, tried to get into the locked saddlebags, etc. Like I said, petty crap, but just ticks me off! Most of the time, during the week, I just ride to and from work, and keep it in a locked garage, so the ONLY place things like that COULD happen is at work. I suspect it's a guy I work with who doesn't like me, but don't have any proof. I just don't understand why some people think it's alright to mess with ANYONE'S stuff, except their OWN. It's also starting to add up in the cost to replace this "little stuff", which isn't cheap to start with. On top of that, this guy also rides (Triumph crotch rocket type), so I KNOW he understands and SHOULD know NOT to mess with someone ELSE'S bike. However, like I said, I don't have PROOF that it was him, because it could have been some "kids" who work for another company within the building. I guess I just had to "vent" to someone who would understand my frustration and anger at this.

Hmm...looks like the REAR has 3/4" bearings installed...These are for a FXDLS, yes?

Is there a place you can park where you can have a GoPro nearby? I wouldn't stand for that crap.

Did a little adventuring in LA this weekend after the Born Free show. Stopped at this little bar that had a great mural of Anthony Bourdain.

Good catch guys. Didn't pay any attention to it! We picked up two sets of the wheels from our tire guy. One set is for my bike, and the other is for my pops 2001 FXD. We had already mocked his front wheel up when I took the pic.
