I installed the SE spring tonight ,and the pull is alot easier over the barnett ,but a little stiffer than stock.I think it will work good for just doing cams.
The parts guy at Harley did try to talk me into going with the SE variable pressure clutch, but for $300 and only done cams I think it will be a waist of money, unless just doing the spring doesnt work out.
Just ordered my SE clutch spring, will give it a try too! Swapping to mid controls soon, so I will put it in then.
Nice man, the SE spring isn't bad at all especially when it breaks in.
Fat Bob w/ mids is the way to go
The Barnett is tolerable until you get into stop and go, then it sucks
I am getting really excited about the mids, got a great EBay deal on 2015 mids that were taken off for forwards, still have to get a few more parts....
Did you guys think of using easy pull clutch with Barnett or se?
I tried that, but I could never get the clutch adjusted right. When it warmed up it would drag bad enough I couldn't hold it in gear at a stop light. Might have just been I didn't know what I was doing though.
