Default a little help from you guys

I'm having trouble from my fat bobs headlights. They will turn off at random. I've narrowed it down to the ground wire in the connector not forming a good enough connection but whether the connector isn't holding it in place right or the tang inside the connector is bad is up for debate. I'm tired of messing with it so I go to buy a new harness and connector but my parts guy at the dealership can find the connector but not the harness from bulb to frame; he's only able to find as a complete assembly with headlight for 359 bucks. I'm looking for a part number if any of you have access to them for a 2013 fat bob.

Your parts guy is right...no p/n for the harness available.

Like nevil stated....check out Ronnie's for the parts you need.

Q: is it the connector at thye bulb or at the main harness that's causing the issue?

Here's the wiring diagram:

and two videos by mud on how to open these connectors:

It's the connector at the frame and guess I'm going to have to grind down a rod to form a thin enough pick. Lost the old one and thought my precision screwdrivers would work well enough

Unfold a small paperclip and flatten one end with sandpaper...

There is a trashed fat bob light on Ebay and the harness looks good. It's at $30.

and, folks, this is how you screw up a connector so that the contacts will not lock in and you get headlights and things turning off and on randomly....

spend the $10 and get the right tool...do it once, do it right.

True since it's already having this problem without touching it I'm going to make it so much worse. I haven't found a pick the right size to fit.

hect, cut the connector off and use some quick connects instead. it's only 3 wires right? or just use a quick connect for the broken one
