By going 30/70 you will lose some cruising speeds but I doubt you will hurt the top end speed. Most engines will not red line in 5th and I have never run one that would hit the limiter in 6th.
I Personally I don't care for a 30 tooth crank gear. I prefer to have my compensator sprocket.
I did a reduction in the first 3 gears but I did it through the transmission. Kinda costly I may add.

I agree, why have a Harley with enough gear for 170mph if it'll never make the power to get there? I put mine at 3.17:1. 25/55 w/chain and +3 on clutch basket. On the dyno it hits 150 in 6th at about 6900rpm. I'm pretty confident it'll do it on the street. I set the limiter to 7100 and went for it one time, shift light came on at 6700 but i was coming up on cars quickly and had to shut it down, it was still pulling pretty good though.

Your bike is a beast and I want to ride it, and I doubt I'm alone there!
I had a 30t Andrews in the front and a 68t sportster pulley and a spacer in the rear on my Fat Bob. Stock belt fit fine. I switched to chain drive since then.

How wide was the spacer,if u can remember ?
Just looking to the naked eye without measuring I'm thinking about 3/8 roughly.
Just wondering, if i used a 68 tooth sportster sprocket,(1 inch belt width),part #40444-07 .
would i require a spacer to mount it to my 2013 fat bob?
probably easier to run the OEM international pulley. No spacers needed.
