Yikes, glad you made it home safe!

Curious to see how they handle it. I've never been much on Monroe shocks after watching my dad go through set after set on his truck, good ride at first but always faded a lot in ride quality within the first 10,000mi or so, then the constant *ting, ting TING ting, tinG* of the upper metal sheath/ boot.

I was actually cleaning my bike put a lift under it lifted it & heard a pop looked down & saw it had broke, I had just installed them a couple hours earlier, I had a set of Arnetts as a back up as I had got a replacement for one that had wore out after 3 years.

I've had them on my bike for about 6000 miles and I love them. There must have been a problem with the welder when that shock was made.

Sorry, I don't mean to jack the thread, but I just had to say you've (Ninety8NeonACR) got one hell of a sweet bike.

That sucks old man. I've had mine on 6000+ like ninety and have had no problems. I'll be checking the welds for any cracks.
