i plan on riding about 5000 a yeah and its a flat black street bob the flat black cost more than the vivid black??
Yes, the denim black is about, maybe, $500 more. That seems a bit high but you are in Cali so that may be the reason. Good luck and follow your heart. I agree on the extended warranty instead of the tires simply because if/when you move, the next dealer honors the warranty but won't on the tires. Make sure it's a MoCo warranty and not some local dealer deal.
Truth is, most folks sell/trade their bike within 10K miles. This would mean one replacement set. everyone plans on keeping the bike long-term, but reality sets in. Are you A-Typical? You are also tied to one dealership.
That would be a great deal for me. I put 80K on a Honda ST-1100 and I don't know how many sets of tires.
hey whats up guys i got a deal going on, tell me what you guys think i dont want to get ripped off...its a vivid black 07 bob for 15699 out the door hows that sound???
wish a dealer would have made that deal with me with 142,000 on my EGS right now, WOW would I have made out. 14 rear tires and 10 front ones since 1999.
What is that? Ventura Harley or Santa Barbara Harley. That's part of their slogan, "Free Tires for Life". I think they offer that on every new bike. Not bad.
Yeah, CA is a bit more expensive. It really sucks buying a used bike. Gotta buy in state. Really cuts down on the bikes that are available here. I'll go looking on Ebayor HD Trader and see a great bike. First I check if it's in CA, then I have to look at the mileage to see if it's close to 7,500 miles or not (out of state bikes can't title until they have 7,500 miles), then you don't wanna bike with that much mileage. Sorry, ranting....
Considering it will cost you about $600 for each set of tires
Glad I don't buy tires where you do. Both tires should be no more than about 275.00 and you should only have to do the front every other time.
As far as I am concerned free tires is a gimic and you will probably never get your moneys worth out of the deal unless you keep the bike for a real long time and stay in the area where the deal is.
