Default Biltwell 10" Risers

Thinking about making this switch to get a better bar height rather than going with west coast t's. I am also assuming since they are just risers it would be a simple swap? No electrical splicing? Is this a bolt on mod or is there more to it?

Stock risers on the FXDF are 5.5". Would I need to look at new cables?

I have the Biltwell 10 inchers. Simple swap, you shouldn't have to get new cables unless you go above 12", but measure how much slack your cables have anyway. Easier to measure once than re-order twice.

On my 2005 Low Rider I tried to put 8" curved risers instead of stock 4" curved risers and brake line was simply too short and cables were quite tight. Although I installed +4" brake line, I ended up installing 6" curved riser.

Those risers are expensive for being made in Taiwan. If your gonna go Asian get the custom chrome ones that look like stock. They are also a lot cheaper.

Also check out bungking.com, the have nice risers that can be internally wired for a good price. Made in the USA too!
