Default dyna seat

Hey guys, just purchased a reduced reach seat for my streetbob. before it had the stock seat. I used a nut and bolt I have laying around in the garage for the back fender, but the front of the seat by the tank moves quite a bit... what gives? Am I missing a part? I figured it was bolt and go? Doesn't move if im sitting on it, just off I can scoot it around.

My 2 up seat did the same thing until I did my tank lift and had to bend my metal tab that goes under the rear tank mount. If I were you I would take it back a little and bend that tab a little at a time until it has a better fit in that slot.

I bent down from my lift. I would try up first and see where you get. I have also seen a few guys take electrical tape and wrap that tab for a tighter fit and it will prevent it from rubbing through the paint with the metal to metal contact.
