I am.. Yeah. It's definitely an adjustment. Once the wheels are back on along with the front fender it will feel more whole.
With the rims being black the new paint helps break it up a little. It will also be nice not to see 10 new scratches every time a soft breeze blows, like on the vivid black paint.
The painter did an awesome job.
Looks great man. Those wheels are going to look great with that color. I like the change!
Yeah I wish I could get the tires on myself.. don't want to mess up the rims though.. maybe I should buy a rim edge guard.
When I powder coated my rims the only people I trusted to put the tires on was harley (shocking I know). They guaranteed they wouldn't scratch the rims so I figured the extra money was cheap insurance. They came thru and didn't screw them up so it was worth it. I won't buy my tires from harley but it looks like they will be doing my tire changes til I find another shop that will guarantee they won't scratch them
Wow! The grey looks sharp, and I agree that the black rims are going to set the grey off nicely. Can't wait to see the bike once you've got all the pieces back together.
Looks awesome, man! I think it was a really good color choice. Whenever I get the chance, I plan to paint my tank and fenders a flat olive drab (military green). I think it would really complete the look and make the bike one of a kind as well as never allow me to get rid of it!

Just an idea.. but what about doing a military green with a gloss clear coat? it would look kick *** with the gloss black.
