mid controls with thunderheader

Default mid controls with thunderheader
I have a 2003 fxdl with t headers. Just bought mids and am lookong at where to mount the controls and the pipe looks like its in the way. Any tips or tricks.

Loosen the T-header at all the mounting points and swing it out enough to where you can fit in the peg brackets. If that doesn't work then dismount the T-header completely. Should be pretty straight forward.

Have you tried to install it yet? I just put the mids on my exhaust side(Fat Cat exhaust) and I thought the same thing by "looking" at it, but it worked.

Didn't Thunder header make two different models years ago based on the peg position?

In some years, yes, but between '99 and '05 the same T-header fit Dynas with mids or forwards according to the catalog.
