Wide rear tire on Street Bob - need help with part numbers please!
Dyna Glide ModelsSuper Glide, Super Glide Sport, Super Glide Custom, Dyna Glide Convertible, Super Glide T-Sport, Dyna Glide Police, Dyna Switchback, Low Rider, Street Bob, Fat Bob and Wide Glide.
I'm late to the party here but here is my understanding. When HD went from the central rear tail light to the integrated turn/brake lights on the sides they also changed the wiring to something similar to the kit. You shouldn't need the kit if you have this setup. When I had my wheel off I looked it over and felt like it was already very streamlined.
I have a 180 scorcher 31 BTW.
If you have the rear fender mounted brake light then you should consider the kit I guess. You posted yours is a 15, you should be gtg. I don't remember what year they changed the brake lights. Mine is a 14.
Et Vill needs the new brackets and button head bolts. I can tell by looking at the picture he posted.
HD yes they are, you think the bolts is whats causing the rubbing?
Your tire and fender look awesome, can you post more photos of the full bike?
Where did you buy fender and $?
thank you Craig
I will upload a photo of how my tired rubbed my wires on a long 800 mile trip.
it is getting to probably needing the full kit?
You don't need the full kit, mostly because all it is, is a tire the 4 parts you do need and two zip ties. All you need is 2 x Screw #4592 and 2 x Bracket, Rear Fender #59514-06 and call it a day.
It will look like this when its done. I just went out and took

I would go with button head, for sure. The plastic wire keepers listed above will help.
My fender, and all parts (except for plate holder) are genuine HD, and you can price it from any online HD store for a '15 Lowrider.
