I have a question on the engine and transmission hardware - i.e. all the bolts that hold the covers on and the cases together. Did you just paint those with appliance epoxy as well, or did you use a set of bolt covers?

They're painted with a gloss black Testors Enamel paint pen. I've got 11k on it miles and they all look just as good as the day I did it
Dude.... you are giving me some serous bike envy over here!!! Love all the detail you've put into it. Looks amazing! What highway pegs are you running? Are they the HD adjustables? Also, who have you been using for PC? Someone local to you? I'm in Foster City. Keep the pics coming. Oh, and that's a bad Camaro too!

Thanks dude! I have the HD adjustable highway pegs, they're awesome for long trips. Most of the powder was done by Maas Brothers in Livermore. The wheels were done by whoever Oakland HD uses. I think they're out of Union City? Can't remember. Some things are actually painted with appliance epoxy, its held up really, really well. I wouldn't hesitate to use it again. Even the rear brake pedal is just done with that and hasn't worn off or anything

Thanks for the info. I'm gonna have to get a set of those highway pegs. I painted my rear brake pedal, but it's not hlding up too well. I'll be sure to try the epoxy on the next go around.
