Nice looking Bike man. I love the leatherpros, but I can't see ponying up that kind of cash for soft bags. Did you change out the speedo button to the big red one? or is that for your led light?

First off, fantastic work! While I'm not generally a completely blacked out bike kind of guy you really did a beautiful job. I really like the light bar, was the wiring difficult?

Also, did you paint your turn signals and mirrors, or change them?

Again, really really stellar and well thought out.

I was with you on the retro bags, but having spent the last month looking for bags that I like I've come to the realization that nothing beats the looks of the leather pros on the SB, not to mention the ease of removal and reputation. So I'm saving up for them.

Question on them though for the OP...

Other than the bracket and signal relocation did you also need to buy the docking parts for a detachable sissy bar? I get confused from the Leather Pro website as to if I need those extra parts or not as part of the install.

thanks!

Thank you! Wiring wasn't difficult at all, I have the accessory harness from HD so that you can't turn it on with the ignition off. Hot lead goes from that harness up the dash to the switch, then goes from switch out the back of the dash with the speedo harness to the light. Grounded light to the frame with the headlamp bolt. Same bolt holds LED bracket in place. Got the light on amazon for $18

Mirrors, blinkers, rear brake pedal, gear shift, center tree cap, axle bolt cover, a/c cover, rear pulley, headlight trim, QR fairing clamps, kickstand, speedo trim and seat emblem are all painted with appliance epoxy. Goes on smooth and holds up great. Matches factory paint perfectly

I bought the docking hardware from the dealer, the kit came with the brackets that go behind the fender, and sissy bar hardware. Leather Pros provided the bolts and spacers for the bags. Quality of the bags are absolutely outstanding, you will not be disappointed. Well worth the cost

If you have any questions about the lp bags don't be hesitant to call Garry at leather pros, he's easy to talk to and happy to answer your questions.

To the OP great job on the bike man I'm sure I'll see you around!
