Thank you! Wiring wasn't difficult at all, I have the accessory harness from HD so that you can't turn it on with the ignition off. Hot lead goes from that harness up the dash to the switch, then goes from switch out the back of the dash with the speedo harness to the light.
hey so where does the HD accessory harness plug into? you dont happen to have a part number do you?
so the harness u connect to the switch, then switch to the power of the light, then ground light, thats it right?
Yep that's it. I had to ground my switch also though because the switch is lighted. And the headlight bolt fit perfectly in the light bar bracket, bolted right up
How did you apply the appliance epoxy to the quick release clamps, does that hold up well on chrome?
Thanks man! As far as the quick release clamps go, I threaded a bolt into them to prevent the paint from getting on the threads, also doubled as a handle while painting lol and then just taped off the rubber portion with masking tape. Sanded them with 600 before paint, so far everything's held up great. Had the fairing off a number of times and no chips or scrapes in the qr clamps. Out of everything I painted with it the only thing that's come off is the part of the kickstand my foot touches when I put it down.
Hey man super clean bike I just ordered those bars and faring kit and had a couple questions where your faring clamps mount to on the forks what did you do to make that part of the fork black? Also how did you get ahold of that seat I have the badlander seat and like this one better

I just used black vinyl to wrap the fork tubes. The seat is the stock seat from a 2014-2015 FXDL, you can get them at the dealer and every once in awhile they pop up on ebay
I thought it was the lowrider seat if you don't mind me asking how much it cost you? And how does that wrap hold up? Thinking I'm going to do that to my bike

I got the seat at the dealership, think it was like $300? Wraps been holding up great, been on for 3-4k miles with no signs of peeling or lifting
