two different things.....storz makes a nice steering stabilizer. trutrac stabilizes the engine in the frame to keep from wallowing during cornering......search feature will bring up lots to read on both

I don´t think steering damper is needed... true track is amazing improvement in handling and cornering, and if you ride with passenger, get also progressive suspension shocks with heavy duty springs...

Steering damper is good to have if you like to ride fast.

To the O.P. I do recommend a steering stabilizer but they're aren't to be confused with any of the drivetrain allignment/stabilizers. They do entirely different things. If you do go with a steering damper I strongly recommend an adjustable one.

May not be "needed" but they're definitely a nice upgrade. I've ridden with and without a steering stabilizer and I loved having one on my bike. I'm going to get another for this bike soon actually.

Definitely great to have when shredding but also just over rough roads and potholes. All the way around they're nice to have not only for high speed but they sure do shine if you crack a hard bump at 80+mph
