Leaking Quick Release

finally got the bike back together after paint. 08 FXDC hit the run button and then fuel all over from the Quick disconnect.. I am assuming the oring is bad but when I look up into it with a mirror it doesn't look like there is on in there. It is very hard to tell not really knowing what it looks like with it in there. There appears to be one up tight around the pin looks like it holds the pin in place. Is there a larger oring. If so and it did some how fall out does anyone one the size of it.

I thought I had a leaky O Ring on my crossover to but it was a loose hose clamp.So I would check your clamps and maybe thats your problem to.

Glad it worked out..... Chasing petroleum product leaks is like wiping your butt with a wagon wheel, gets all over, and never ends.

Its not uncommon for the o rings to leak after taking the connection apart. If I remember correctly there are 2 o rings. One on the male and another on the female end. The o rings can be replaced but you wont find the o rings at at the dealership, they sell the whole assembly. At one time I had the size and part number from napa. There are other threads on this subject. Try doing a search or wait for others to pipe in
