and the dealer wants to selll me an arm and a leg worth of parts cause his lil drawing in the book doesn't show a seperate O ring? anyone have this problem? It started leakin on a trip last summer and we stopped by napa and was able to shove another o ring in there and get it to stop and it's still workin. But now I'm leaving for Vegas in 5 weeks and I would like to make sure it is fixed right...
Yes, head on down to Ace hardware and get an O-ring, it's is an easy fix. Get a small dental pick to pop out the old one and take it with you. The new one will pop in fairly easy, just be careful you don't nick it.
A small mirror will be very helpful as well.

Second above, happened to me last summer. Rather than a dental pick, I used small wire and curved the end. Mark
Same for me. So I went to Tracto Supply and they had an o-ring kit for a pump for get this 50 cents. Sure does beat 50-60 dollars the MoCo was pandering.
Excellent advice. I would see if you can find an o-ring that is gas resistant. I believe they do make them.
I'll never understand why the MoCo continually shoots itself in the foot. If they made more of those little parts available at a reasonable price they would get more business. Instead they shut their customers out and force them to patronize another establishment.
