Good deal?
Hi everyone, I am in the process of buying my first Harley and wanted to know if this sounded like an okay deal. 2007 FXDB pewter denim, 103" SE stage II kit, SE pipes,Securityfor $17,000. Thanks for the help in advance.

I paid $14000 for a 2007 FXDB with the Fat Tire kit mod included.
I guess it depends on how deep your pocket is?
If you don't really need the extra hp, you could probably save a few thousand and spend the $$$ on other mods / add-ons.

My FXDB with the stage 1 mod and the new 96" TC-1584cc provides more than ample power for me.
I'd suggest test riding one of the stock jobs and then decide.
When I bought mine they had a 103" on the floor, but I opted for the stocker which left me with some financial room for mods and add-ons.
That said more horsepower is always a good thing imho.
If money is not an issue get the 103" and have them install some real pipes.
