foward controls
The lever you just remove the bolt and slide off the lever, then put it back on where you want it.
If it's the peg Kury's usually have a bolt you loosen then you can rotate it where you need it, then tighten.

If it's the position of the foot lever/peg you can adjust it for proper fitment for you by moving the lever on the splines. If you're saying things are binding it could very easily be the shift rod itself isn't adjusted properly allowing full movement/return of the shift lever rod at the transmission, I've seen some where the shift rod itself ends up on an angle running from the shift lever back to the transmission shift rod causing binding... How 'bout posting up an image so we can see what you've got...
As in the previous post, you should be able to easily unbolt and adjust the shifter arm. I have the same kit and it's absolutely awesome. I'm 6'0" with a 32" inseam and it just "fits".
I would HIGHLY recommend that you get some gel-glue (or similar) and reinforce the shifter-side ball-joint in the shifting linkage. I was cruising down the road one day and all of the sudden my shifter was no longer there (it was attached, although fell down because the inner socket came free of the mount). Luckily there was no issue as I just pulled over and forcibly pulled it back into place although I was "gentle" the rest of the way home.
A little Gel Loctite fixed the issue!
There really isn't a problem,, it's just different because of the lever length and position (Newtons 2nd Law)
I have a hard time down shifting with the different set up,, I have to push down really far to grab a gear. I currently have the linkage set about in the middle of the two ends.
I'm going to pull the shift lever,, then turn the linkage all the way in or very short between the ends,, then reposition the lever on the spline shaft.
I'm not sure it'll help,, I think it's just me getting used too'm.
I'm still at the stage where my feet are looking for the mid's !!
