Default Forward controls: boot under or on brake pedal

Just curious what everyone does. I can't quite get my boot under the pedal so my foot hangs off the peg a little. My mini floorboards are adjustable so I'm going to try angling them back some, lowering the pedal height so the ball of my foot just rests on the brake but without applying pressure, sort of like how the mid controls are setup.

Hey Matt, I'll chime in: with fwds and having the ac pushing on right knee, I had my right foot on the outboard portion of the stock peg - not great for an emergency use of rear brake. Found myself using the front brake only alot.

With mids, everything fells more normal and natural, able to keep my right foot tighter to rear brake pedal and now use it during most stops.

Yeah I never felt good about having to lift my foot up and turn it to brake. I always use my rear it's just a hassle. We'll see how this goes.

I just installed forwards too,
Kinda stuck in the same place as you with peg/pedal adjustment.
I'm content with having my foot out a little "next too" the brake pedal, I'm sure I don't want my foot under the pedal at all, I want to be able to get to that pedal (right now!) without any hindrance.
I'm just now trying some ISO Boards.

I got big feet and mine basically sits next to the pedal. When I need to apply the brake it's just a slight rotation of the foot.
I did put a large brake pedal on and this helps a bunch. It was a lot of rotation before with the stock pedal.

With my further forwards, I actually rest the ball of my foot on the brake pedal. I will occasionally move my foot for a bit, just for a change of position, like to stretch my leg a bit, but my defualt position is with my foot touching the brake, but not pressing it. I guess I'm lucky, that's where my foot wants to be.

Interesting I've always assumed people did not rest their foot on the pedal. With stock pegs I know to do that the pedal had to be lowered quite a bit making it really hard to use the full force of the brake.

Matt, I'm like some of the others in that I have my foot right next to the brake and then rotate it inwards slightly to apply pressure. I've never felt like it was a hassle. The biggest hinderance is the A/C hitting the inside of my leg just below the knee. I don't keep my foot too far inwards because then if you go over some larger bumps, it can really put a jarring on the leg where it touches the A/C.

since I'm used to riding a bagger with my foot on a board and the brake pedal above my toes I just last weekend adjusted the brake pedal quite high on the fatbob. But because that fat ham can air cleaner cover kicks my leg out I still have to lift and twist the foot inward to hit the brake but its almost an exact movement as the bagger now so switching between the two bikes doesn't trip me up.Just like in a car you have to lift and stomp!
