Thanks guys! I'm happy to be part of the HD family!!!
Here is a few things I've noticed or learned so far. Harley is strict with price! We all know that and I'm ok with that but I'm also not a new sell out trying to be cool on a HD! I paid more for a harley cause it's American made and love the HD line up in general. Rockets are fast but not my style. I also wanted a harley jacket and know it's a $200 jacket but with a HD tag so it now $450 but when the tag says made in Indonesia and the gloves are from China... Well I was upset! So I needed a helmet and other parts so I asked the dealer what's up!? They basically said its to pricey for Harley to have everything made here. That's bullshit!! I found many American made stuff and yes it's more but I don't care so y can't harley do this? Well I digress, I did find they had a swing arm bag made in USA so I bought that. Helmet is China made with HD logo.🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵👎🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸👍
Anyways on to the bike, it's awesome!! I can't have made a first bike better fit for me. I'm 5'10"ish and the 165lbs so not a big guy but this bike rides so nice I'm almost sure I don't need to be on it for it to hug the road! Few things I don't like, stock exhaust! Wow is it quite, cant even hear it with a full face helmet on. Buying exhaust asap! I know emission control most of that problem. Also it's true I found my right foot wants to blow right off the peg. Air cleaner is huge and pushes my leg out. I have a SE intake but no tuner yet so waiting to see if that helps any. Some better pegs and I'll be fine I hope.Looking at joker machine with a heel rest. The added swing arm bag is nice but I'll need some throw over bags for long trips. And since I had to remove the pegs I'm looking for a nice solo seat about the same seat position as stock. Not the best seat but nice for stock.
All in all I love the bike and with some mods it will be awesome! I'm really glad I saved some money and went with Amber whiskey, it's really nice in the sunlight!!
