So I have a 2013 streetbob, I bought the bike brand new, its the black denim bob. (not a 103). I have put rush slip on pipes, two up peg kit, have both a two up seat and solo seat, the bike is lowered on a burly slammer kit ( front and Rear). The bike currently has 3100 miles on it. My question is if i were to sell as is with all the stock parts with it, what a good selling price? Please help. And thanks in advance. (sorry if this is in wrong section)
$13k is pretty steep... Like almost MSRP steep... and over retail high-book steep lol.
All joking aside, from a buyer's stand point, peg's, seat, and aftermarket exhaust (which only "half" is there) are the bare necessities for most anyone who wants to ride a Harley. What small upgrades that are there you'd be lucky to get cents on the dollar in return being they're not big sought after upgrades, just kind of things people expect to get with a bike, especially used. Perhaps more of a selling aspect than anything. Just being realistic.
Let's assume your bike is in absolute PERFECT condition (which it should be at that mileage). A few quick clicks on KBB and it's showing $8,770 for trade-in and $11,940 for high book retail (plus $1,095 for ABS if your bike is equipped with it). That would leave you mid-way from those numbers for a top dollar private party asking price. Stack a couple hundo on for your extras TOPS and go from there.
I did not know KBB did bikes. Well thanks Jesse for a real answer. This is my second bike first one i traded for the bob, and i hate to sell it but my everyday truck is taking a ****. Ill most likely end up keeping it lol. Thanks again

I was offered $6000 for my 2009 FXDC against a 2013 FLHR with a 16k asking price. Indy dealer said all the extras - detach bags, wshield, pass backrest do not add anything to trade value, but all extra equip on their for sale bikes is listed. I am pretty fustrated and will ride my bike for a long while before I take this much of a bath.

that's because you went to an indy dealer, is it really an indy dealer or is it a metric dealer? Harley would give you at least $9k for it trade, and they do give you a little extra for those mods. from what I've seen the metric dealers do not like to deal with Harleys, they sale them for pretty cheap & they offer low trade in values.
