I REALLY don't want throw overs though. That one that I found from BigDog's suggestion looks like its exactly what I want; but I couldn't find it on their site.

Im actually going to a blessing of the bikes today, and I will consider throw-overs if I can find them for under $50...but I doubt it.

These are a little more than $50.00, but they require no frames or parts relocation. I bought them for a VStrom, but needed them on the Dyna for a trip. They worked so well, they have been on there for over three years now.

Fit between the shocks and turn indicators, and the throw over straps fit nicely under the seat. They are not considered waterproof, but have ridden in bad storms with no leakage into the bags.

Rain covers are available for under $10.00, too.

Email Leather Pros and they will give you all the info. They aren't on their site for some reason.

Is there such a thing, or should I keep dreaming?
In three or four months you could have set aside $100 each month and be able to get a really nice set of throwovers, like mine that fit just fine between the shock and light yet I can put two gallons of milk in each bag (and stuff a few smaller things in them still too). http://www.leatherworksinc.com/leath...saddlebags/106

I live on a pittance of a disability check, pay rent, pay monthly for the bike, pay quarterly for insurance, and of course there's food, clothing, etc. If I can save up, you can surely. Just be patient. If you're lucky, you can find the bags I got at a price I got on ebay (they're normally ~$350, but these had some scuff marks and I got them for $200).

these are not quick disconnect, but they aren't throw overs either, even come with the hard mount hardware, I just ordered these myself. they are not very big but good for me.. I didn't want to relocated the signals either. price is very good, they even have locks & keys & metal panels.
