Anyone install extensions on the OEM forward controls? If so, where did you get em?

I have seen severals kits for up to the 03' models. I need them for an 06'.

I just put on a set from Kuryakyn...They work with there pegs and are available in 2" and 4" versions...I actually needed to pull the pegs back a touch and they worked perfectly...They are fully adjustable so you can position them anywhere in a 2 or 4 inch circle Great product...
http://kuryakyn.com/products.asp?bn=harley&ci=3595for stock pegs
http://kuryakyn.com/products.asp?bn=harley&ci=3051 for Iso Pegs
Hope this helps..Later

I just purchased a set of those from a forum member and installed them. I love the new position of my feet and legs using them, but do not like their position in relationship to the shifter and brake pedal. They make shifting and braking awkward.

I am looking for something similar to sets I have seen available for the older models. These sets include flat drilled brackets which move the controls forward. They include new extended linkages for the shifter and brake. I am assuming the difference in the older models and the 06' is the length of these linkages.

I have thought about the Kuryakyns and may end up going that route.

I just dumped $324.00 in the Harley's and was looking for a way to make them more comfortable without taking a beating.

I was looking at getting extensions as well. I just got a 02 wide glide and I am 6-4. I did alot of searching on these forums and decided to buy the Kuryakin 3" extensions. I should recieve them this week. Install sounds like 1 hour and 2 beers. From what I read its a must for most riders over 6-2.

I will let you know what I think when I get them installed ( praying before the weekend ).

Here's mine. I drew up these 3" extended main brackets for my aftermarket controls and had a friend machine 'em for me. I then polished them and added a +3" brake line and a 3" shifter linkage extension. Turned out great!

Very nice. You and your buddy could make a few side bucks selling those.

That's what he was thinking. He already has his own machine shop in his garage. He was actually really curious what kind of interest there would be in the custom rim business.

Wow yea those look really nice. Nicer than others out there. So we don't hi-jack this thred, I have to Kuryakyn 3" extended on my WG. Best money I have spent yet. Think a different seat, or some work on the current seat will be the 2nd best mod.
