Has anyone tried converting a fork mounted fairing to frame mount? Ive significantly reduced the trail on my bike and love the way it handles. But Im getting issues with wind on the interstate at high speeds effecting the front end. I have a rifle roadster now and am exploring how Ill mount it to the frame.
I have a Memphis Shades batwing faring on my 2015 dyna wide glide. I have 49mm forks and the mounting kit is sold by memphis shades also and makes this a easy and quick removal if you didnt want to have it on around town or what not.

I picked up this little fairing off eBay new for $35, it has that vrod look to it. Mainly I wanted it to hide the risers, cables and wires. It works for what it is, it's no windshield.
I've been thinking about this small fairing for my 2009 SG Custom. How is it held onto the headlight? do you happen to have a link?
List type of fairing you have installed. Name and manufacture
What type of front end and fork size... Narrow, mid, wide. 39mm 41mm 49mm
Post a picture of it on your bike, more pics the better
Details on custom or supplied brackets for install
Trying to create a one stop shop for pics and info of all fairings available to put on your dyna
I got the aftermarket FXRT fairing and mount free from a friend. A club brother repaired the cracks in it and painted it black. Absolutely love the smoother pocket of air, though I need a taller windshield for the colder weather. Not sure if it is Deviant Fab or not. I know it's not a JD Customs. 2007 fxdl
