I'm using RK Brand O-Ring Anodized Chains and also another brand from : 3 GUYZ in Washington State. They've been excellent in longevity and strength as far as like 1 chain a season ( I change em each year so as to avoid a problem - even though I dont need to,but I'm just a creature of premature chain replacement and 2K Oil & Filter/Spark plug maintenance ) .The price You paid was awesome and I wish you many miles and smiles.......*USE CHAIN WAX* as it's an Awesome and proven lubricant .

I think all the top roller chains use X or W seals now. At least the strong 530s that can handle big torque. (10k+ psi)
I really want to get an EK 3D chain but my RK XW chain is still good and I haven't got the coin to pitch $150 worth of good parts. Course, I got a measly 88...I ain't snapping no 530 chains.

Mine came in last week. Extremely nice quality and according to specs, built like a tank! Cant wait to wring it out.
Ive read through this whole thread and i didnt see what i needed so ima ask
I get 10 over cost on drag parts so
2005 dyna low rider i want a little more low end Stock 88 im gunna toss a woods 510 cam in it.. SO what ratio and does anyone have drag part numbers?
Thanx in advance
You'll want to shoot for a final drive ratio of 2.2+
The widest offset front sprocket you can fit is about 1.062". That will allow just enough room for a 180mm tire (even though the frame/fender may not. 160 was the widest my 99 would fit without major mods). I can't be accurate with a rear offset since I'm running a custom hub and axle spacers.
Once you determine the front sprockets you can find thru DS, the rear is easy to pick. Maybe a 24/55?

My dad has an 01 FXD with a stout 95 S&S with a 6spd Baker gearset. He is running a PBI 25t front and a custom 51t rear. Using an EK Chains 3D chain.
I have a 16 LRS and Im going with a PBI 24t front and custom 52t rear for a bit more low end.
Your Drag guy should be able to search for parts by bike relatively easy.
I need offsets but part numbers would be perf.. Our parts guys are dumb as a box of rocks.. I cant seem to find the offsets besides the front.. I see fxr rear but it has to be machined etc.. I want bolt on I just did a lowbrow kit today and i wasnt happy with the rear sprocket on an 06.. he went with stock gearing as he has a stage 4 kit and has plenty of low end.. I just wanna wheelie and burn out I dont go on the highway a whole lot and when i do i cruise 80 ish.. Thanx
