I want to replace the stock shocks on my WG with progressives if, they will eliminate that hard jolt that happens when I hit a bump or railroad track etc. etc. My wife gets so pissed when that happens. Doesn't bother me too much but she is demanding I do something about it. Do any of you guys have experience with the progressive shocks?
my neightbour has them he is on this site now, he posted about the crane ignition.... his name is 97fxdwg, maybe he will post for ya! I sure he likes them though!
Thanks for the input guys. I did some research and I did find out that they are supposed to smooth out that hard jolt you get sometimes. I'm told that they make a huge difference. Now I need to decide should I invest in a corbin seat or the progressive shocks first. Can't afford both.
I know this is a couple of weeks late but I just joined the forum today. I have the Heavy Duty 412's on my Superglide. While I did't need them for me alone, with the wife we were bottoming out even with the std. shocks adjusted all the way up. With the Heavy Duty, they now only need to be adjusted up 2 out of the 5 adjustments for 2 up riding. And now that the wife and I have dropped 30 lbs total, when the warmed weather hits we may only need to go 1 up adjustment from standard. I also have the Progressive front springs but haven't put them in yet. Best prices are from Jirah Cycle.
