Kevin is a talented guy and a good fabricator, he can build some badass parts, but like I said, his business side of ripping people off in the past and not making good on it, just can't support his business.
I just installed both mounts Saturday and I could definitely notice the difference. Mind you I probably could have gone with a different front mount, but I like that in supports the case. Plus I run mids 5'9". Before I could not run over 80 mph without it veering all over the place. After the install and testing I ran out of road. I would definitely do it again. People do messed up things in businesses. People forgave Mike Vick and Killary Clinton. Just saying
I still haven't seen any explanation of how the mount is put together. I don't see what is restricting horizontal motion in the pics. It looks like it allows movement in all axis...am I missing something?
The thing is put together well. Although some rust resistant hardware would be nice.
It's two mounts made into one. It does not allow side to side movement at all. Up and down only and barely that, Trust me.
This bike handles so well that you don't realise who fast your going.
Windy days, trucks whatever, it's a whole new machine.

The idea is that the rubber donuts do not crush but allow movement axially.. You have to look at them closely. They each use 3 sheet metal rings that keep the rubber from bulging out.. The rings essentially keep the rubber from compressing axially but allow the rubber too move radially..
Here is a pic of the rubber isolator. The one of the left is stock.. One on the right is a glide pro.. Notice the GP does not have the sheet metal rings..
While the BBC mount won't help my DX handling, I'm more interested in what it does for vibrations.. I'm getting tired motor vibes at certain RPMs.
I understand the washers limit side to side movement...but there is still rubber, right? It seems the movement may be restricted by the large rubber o-ring, but not "0" like the Sputh or TT. Those mounts have metal on metal which completely eliminate side to side motion. I am just not seeing what in the BBC mount is restricting side to side other than rubber. The OEM mounts use rubber to restrict, but not eliminate side motion.
