I've been undecided on what kind of bars I want to go with. For starters, I thought I would throw on a set of risers to see if I liked the extra height. Turned a couple 1 1/2" spacers on th lathe along with some grade 8 4" bolts and here they are. Also whipped together a phone mount/charger bar mount. I never would have thought that extra 1.5 inches would make such a difference, way more comfortable for me now. long term I would still like to swap them out,but at least I know the height now.

Cruising it's not bad at all. A little shaky at idle, but the whole bike shakes. I have a Sena bluetooth setup in my helmet and listen to Pandora on the way to and from work, and honestly wanted to mount it just so that I could charge it while I commute. I can easily see song information, so I think it will be fine for GPS too.
