Default FXD Gas Cap
Hey guys, I have a 2008 FXD and would like to change out the gas cap hardware. I can't seem to find anything online that looks like it would fit.

Has anyone changed theirs? Mind posting pics? Thanks.

If you mean the actual caps when you say hardware then I would suggest having your caps painted the color of your tank or something that compliments your paint.

You have to be willing to be ultra cool though, being ultra cool isn't for everyone

this is what I have on my FXD. I was wondering if there are any aftermarket part(s) to swap this out with.

I love the red, white and blue Harley, "1", but it seems all you can get now is the 1 with the dumb looking skull thingy.

You could disassemble it and PC it, even different colors.

I had an 09 FXD. I still think that was the best tank/ gas cap combo there was. I miss mine.

I agree with wolvie 1982... Love that style.. very unencumbered.. was also the style used on the 07 FXDSE... sweet tank and set up
